Affiliate disclosure

Plain version: some links on this site are affiliate links, and I earn money when people sign up through them.

Which links

Right now the only affiliate programme on this site is HackerDNA, the training platform where many of the labs in these walkthroughs run. Links to HackerDNA in articles marked as containing affiliate links carry a referral code. If you sign up through one, I earn a commission.

What it costs you

Nothing. You pay the same price whether you use the link or go to the site directly.

How you can tell

• Every affiliate link is labelled right where it appears.
• Buttons that point to HackerDNA have the line "Affiliate link · I earn a commission at no extra cost to you." directly under them.
• Affiliate links inside the text are followed by "(affiliate link)".
• Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored" for search engines.

What it does not change

The walkthroughs are written the same way with or without a commission. I write about labs I actually worked through. If something about a platform is frustrating, I will say so. I am not paid to publish reviews and I do not accept payment for coverage.
